Annual Academic Scholarship: In an effort to promote construction trades, we offer scholarship opportunities to current and previous students of Moffat County High School. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college, University or vocational school and be majoring in any aspect of the construction trades.
To Apply: Download the Application below and print it out. Applications must be received on or before April 22nd at 3pm to Mrs. Paula Duzik at Moffat County High School or mailed directly to us at PO Box 777, Craig, CO 81626. Notification of award will be prior to April 30th, 2012.
Mike Miller is our 2011 Moffat County High school graduate and our Scholarship Recipient. He will be attending the school of Mines and is going into Engineering. Good job and Good luck Mike!
2009 Scholarship Awards:
Congratulations to Collin Jackson, a 2009 Moffat County High School graduate. Collin will be majoring in Architectural Engineering at the University of Wyoming and was the recipient of a $1000 scholarship from us. Zach Haddan is a 2009 Moffat County High School graduate who was also awarded a $500 scholarship from us. Zach is majoring in Construction Management at the University of Denver.
Kyle Rader was granted $500 from our 2009 scholarship awards. He was also the recipient of our 2008 Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Kyle is a junior attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. and is majoring in Construction Management.
Organizational Involvement: Kiwanis Club- 11 years as Member, President, Vice-President, Play Chairman and Co-Chairman. Economic Development Partnership-Member 5 years. Craig Chamber of Commerce-Member 13years. Current board member and past president. Craig Beautification Committee- Member Ducks Unlimited of Craig, Colorado-16years as Member, Treasurer, Chairman, and Sponsor. 4H Youth leader.
